Welcome to the Home of the 2017 Climbing Wall Summit
Three Days of Educational Content, Networking, and Exhibits
May 18-20, 2017
Eleven years ago we gathered you together at the Boulder Outlook Hotel to start a conversation - to provide you with a forum for sharing information. Our community needed a place to learn, share ideas, and network. The conference was a success from the very beginning, thanks to you.
Eleven years later, the Outlook is gone and the Summit has become our annual trade show, our professional development experience and our biggest networking and social event of the year.
We are excited to invite you to the eleventh annual Climbing Wall Summit. Building on the success of last year's event, we are once again returning to the Embassy Suites in Loveland, CO. This year promises to be another banner year in the history of the Climbing Wall Summit with more vendors, more educational sessions, and more networking opportunities. We hope you'll join us!
Check back for more information - we will be populating this page as new information becomes available.

About the CWA
What is the CWA?
The mission of the Climbing Wall Association is to support the growth, health, independence and professionalism of the climbing wall industry.
The Climbing Wall Association (CWA) was originally organized as a part of the Outdoor Recreation Coalition of America, now the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA). After an OIA reorganization the Climbing Wall Association was incorporated as an independent 501(c)(06) in May of 2003 by founding board members Bob Richards, Rich Johnston, and Nate Postma.
The Climbing Wall Association is the only trade association addressing the needs and interests of the climbing wall industry. We serve a diverse community of climbing gyms, climbing wall operators and instructors, climbing wall manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, consultants, and others involved in the climbing industry.
The CWA works diligently to develop and maintain standards for the industry, represent member interests in regulatory and legislative processes, sponsors professional development, training and certification programs, provides support services and benefits to companies in the industry, and promotes the sport of rock climbing to increase market size and improve market climate.
The CWA provides benefits for climbers of any age getting out onto a climbing wall, from first time climbers who are looking for competent instruction to professionals who want to make climbing their career. CWA is a resource for the whole climbing community.
Make a difference in the future of climbing, join the CWA today! Members receive up to a 20% discount off summit registration!
